Emergence
Trying to save 'em all
Before the clouds become too tight
And heavy and thick
Till there's nothing more than stars in my eyes
And the whole universe in my heart.
Dawn of the world in my hands
Sunrise in my soul
All of it contained
They whispered the world to me
As if it was meant to be.
I'm no stranger to chaos
But from my emptiness came light
And hope and misery and life
I traveled through it all,
Full of what should be.
No wonders in the realm of gods
No miracles in the flames of heaven
And the iciness of your soul
Bring only what your hands can't grasp
No matter what you thought could be.
Humanity is your gift,
And no one can take it from you.
Dream, breathe and cry,
You're my always, ever and never,
Everything that is.
